The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley and has offices worldwide. We are looking for a IT Support Services Specialist to provide customer-focused helpdesk services 

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for hardware configuration management, deployments and asset register
    • Installs / supports software as required for existing and/or new employees
    • Supports peripheral equipment, as well as desktop and mobile phones.
    • Orders new and replacement systems and/or parts as needed
    • Repairs / upgrades computer hardware as required
    • Reviews incoming helpdesk service requests in a timely manner
    • Evaluates and prioritizes service requests and assigns incidents to the appropriate queue
    • Identifies, researches, and resolves problems related to user’s computing and desktop software
    • Escalates problems to senior personnel where necessary
    • Assists with some system administration tasks within the Windows Active Directory
    • Completes minor facilities maintenance tasks and escalates facilities issues to Building Management as appropriate
    • May require some after hours work and/or staggered shifts
    • Other duties may be assigned

     
    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred, but not required
    • Minimum of two years of experience in the technical support field.
    • Requires a strong knowledge of computer applications, systems, and peripheral equipment
    • Experience with Windows and Mac desktop operating systems within a networked environment
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Skype for Business
    • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
    • Present and maintain a professional and friendly attitude
    • Self-starter
    • Close attention to detail, and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities within deadlines
